We are a group of people who care about the mental health issues impacting our community. Our board is comprised of people from diverse backgrounds including business
owners, attorneys, employers, human resource managers, marketing directors, mental health
professionals and members of Friendship House.
Friendship Club was incorporated in 1991 for the purpose of supporting the mission and goals of Friendship House through advocacy, community awareness efforts, fundraising and employment development. Friendship House opened in Kapaa in 1988 and was the first Clubhouse to be established in the State of Hawaii. To date, there are 9 Clubhouses in Hawaii and over 300 worldwide.
To support Friendship House in providing a safe, accepting environment reflective of the Clubhouse model of psychiatric rehabilitation in which individuals with mental illness are offered empowering opportunities to reach their full and considerable potential and achieve their individual aspirations.
Your support and contributions will enable us to meet our goals and improve conditions. Your generous donation will fund our mission.
